    Sos S. Agaian (Fellow, IEEE) is currently a Distinguished Professor with the College of Staten Island (CSI), The City University of New York. He has authored more than 750 technical articles and ten books in these areas. He is a fellow of SPIE, IS&T, AAAS, and AAIA. He also serves as a Foreign Member for the Armenian National Academy. He received the Distinguished Research Award from The University of Texas at San Antonio. He was a recipient of the Innovator of the Year Award, in 2014, and the Tech Flash Titans-Top Researcher Award (San Antonio Business Journal). He is an Editorial Board Member of Pattern Recognition and Image Analysis and an Associate Editor of several journals, including the IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, the IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man and Cybernetics, Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering (Hindawi Publishing Corporation), International Journal of Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (Hindawi Publishing Corporation), and Journal of Electronic Imaging (IS&T and SPIE).

  • Ljiljana Trajkovic

    Professor, IEEE Fellow, Simon Fraser University, Canada.

    Ljiljana Trajković is Professor with the School of Engineering Science, Simon Fraser University in Canada. She graduated from University of Pristina in 1974, got her master's degrees in electrical engineering (1979) and computer engineering (1981) from Syracuse University and PhD in electrical engineering from University of California, Los Angeles in 1986. She was an National Science Foundation Visiting Professor at UC Berkeley College of Engineering, and a research scientist and member of technical staff at Bell Labs and Bell Communications Research. She was the President of IEEE Circuits and Systems Society, IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society and she currently serves as Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Transactions on Human-Machine Systems. In 2005, she was elected Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers "for contributions to computer aided design tools for circuit analysis".

  • Ping Wang

    Research field: Wireless Communications and Networking; Internet of Things; Machine Learning; Resource Management in Cloud Computing; Power Energy Management in Smart Grid.

    Ping Wang received the bachelor's and master's degrees in electrical and computer engineering from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, in 1994 and 1997, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, ON, Canada, in 2008. She is currently a Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, York University, Toronto, ON, Canada, and the Tier 2 York Research Chair. Prior to that, she was with Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, from 2008 to 2018. Her research interests include wireless communication networks, cloud computing, and the Internet of Things. Her scholarly works have been widely disseminated through top-ranked IEEE journals/conferences. She was the recipient of the best paper awards from IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference in 2022, 2020, and 2012, from IEEE Communication Society: Green Communications & Computing Technical Committee in 2018, and from IEEE International Conference on Communications in 2007. She is a Distinguished Lecturer of the IEEE Vehicular Technology Society.

  • Haibin Zhu

    Dr. Haibin Zhu is a Full Professor and the Coordinator of the Computer Science Program, the Founding Director of the Collaborative Systems Laboratory, a member of Arts and Science Executive Committee, Nipissing University, Canada. He is an affiliate professor of Concordia Univ. and an adjunct professor of Laurentian Univ., Canada. He received his PhD degree in computer science from the National Univ. of Defense Tech. (NUDT), China. He was the chair of the Department of Computer Science and Mathematics, Nipissing University, Canada (2019-2021), a visiting professor and special lecturer in the College of Computing Sciences, New Jersey Institute of Technology, USA (1999-2002) and a lecturer, an associate professor and a full professor at NUDT (1988-2000). He has accomplished (published or in press) over 280+ research works including 50+ IEEE Transactions articles, six books, five book chapters, four journal issues, and four conference proceedings. He is a fellow of I2CICC (International Institute of Cognitive Informatics and Cognitive Computing), a senior member of IEEE, a senior member of ACM, a full member of Sigma Xi, and a life member of CAST-USA (Chinese Association of Science and Technology, USA). Prof. Haibin Zhu is serving as Vice President, Systems Science and Engineering (SSE) (2023-), a member-at-large of the Board of Governors (2022-), and a co-chair (2006-) of the technical committee of Distributed Intelligent Systems of IEEE Systems, Man and Cybernetics (SMC) Society (SMCS), SMCS Primary Representative, IEEE Systems Council, Editor-in-Chief of IEEE SMC Magazine (2022), Associate Editor (AE) of IEEE Transactions on SMC: Systems (2018-), IEEE Transactions on Computational Social Systems(2018-), Frontiers of Computer Science (2021-), and IEEE Canada Review (2017-). He was AE of IEEE SMC Magazine (2015-2021), Associate Vice President (AVP), SSE (2021), IEEE SMCS, a Conference (Co-)Chair and Program (Co-)Chair for many international conferences, and a PC member for 150+ academic conferences. Prof. Haibin Zhu is the founding researcher of Role-Based Collaboration and the creator of the E-CARGO model. He was the recipient of the best paper award in international collaboration from the 25th Int’l conf. on CSCWD, Hangzhou, China, 2022, the meritorious service award from IEEE SMC Society (2018), the chancellor’s award for excellence in research (2011) and two research achievement awards from Nipissing University (2006, 2012), the IBM Eclipse Innovation Grant Awards (2004, 2005), the Best Paper Award from the 11th ISPE Int’l Conf. on Concurrent Engineering (ISPE/CE2004), the Educator’s Fellowship of OOPSLA’03, a 2nd class National Award for Education Achievement (1997), and three 1st Class Ministerial Research Achievement Awards from China (1997, 1994, and 1991).

    Kaya Kuru received the B.Sc. degree from the National Defense University (Turkish Military Academy), the A.D.P. degree in computer engineering from Middle East Technical University (METU), the M.B.A. degree from Selçuk University, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from METU. He completed his postdoctoral studies with the School of Electronics and Computer Science/Informatics, University of Southampton, U.K. He is a Software Engineer and currently an Associate Professor of computer-information systems engineering. He has recently engaged in the implementation of numerous AI-based real-world systems within various funded projects. His research interests include the development of geo-distributed autonomous intelligent systems using FL, ML, DL, and DRL with CPSs. He has published dozens of papers in several international journals, as well as dozens of conference papers in several international academic conferences.

  • Xiaodong Liu

    Prof. Xiaodong Liu has been very active in the research in AI-driven software engineering, focusing on pervasive systems (Internet of Things), service-oriented architecture, evolution of cloud services, and intelligence-driven smart systems. He has won 14 external grants and successfully led or leading these externally funded projects with the role of principal investigator. Currently Prof. Liu leads the Intelligence-Driven Software Engineering Research Group. He is the founder a spin out company, FlexiCAGE Ltd. He has published 180 papers in refereed international journals and conferences and 5 book chapters. He is the inventor of 1 patent in Generative Component Adaptation registered in UK, USA and at International Level (PCT). He has been the chair, co-chair or PC member of a number of IEEE and ACM International Conferences. He is the associate editor of 2 international journals and the editorial board member of 3 international journals. He is the guest editor of 5 journal special issues, and the chief editor of 3 IGI Global Research Handbooks. He is the regular reviewer of other 6 international journals. He is a senior member of IEEE Computer Society, and a member of British Computer Society.

    Dr. Hamed Taherdoost is an award-winning leader and research and development professional. He is the Founder of Hamta Group | Hamta Business Solution and Associate Professor & Chair of Research and Scholarly Activities Committee at University Canada West. He has over 20 years of experience in both industry and academic sectors. He has been a university lecturer in three different parts of the world, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and North America. Besides, he has organized and chaired numerous workshops, conferences, and conference sessions respectively, and has delivered speeches as chief guest and keynote speaker. His views on science and technology have been published in top-ranked scientific publishers such as Elsevier, Springer, Emerald, IEEE, IGI Global, Inderscience, Taylor and Francis and Dr. Hamed has published over 200 scientific articles in authentic peer-reviewed international journals and conference proceedings.   • Chinmay Chakraborty

    Dr. Chinmay Chakraborty is Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Birla Institute of Technology, Jharkhand, India. His primary areas of research include Wireless Body Area Network, Internet of Medical Things, Energy-Efficient Wireless Communications and Networking, Point-of-Care Diagnosis. Prior to BIT Mesra, he worked at Faculty of Science and Technology, ICFAI University, Tripura, India. He worked as a Research Consultant in Coal India project at Industrial Engineering & Management, IIT Kharagpur, project coordinator in the Indo-US project at IIT Kharagpur, and also worked as a Network Engineer in System Administration at MISPL, India. He received his Ph.D. in Electronics & Communication from BIT Mesra, India. He did his Masters in Telecommunication Engineering from G. S. Sanyal School of Telecommunication, IIT Kharagpur, India. He did his B. Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from MAKAUT (formerly, WBUT), India. He has published more than 30 technical papers in various journals, book, book chapter, and conferences. He has also been an Editor for a book published by a reputed international publisher. He is an Editorial Board Member in Journal of Wireless Communication Technology and also a member of International Advisory Board for Malaysia Technical Scientist Congress, and Machine Intelligence Research Labs. He got Outstanding Researcher Award from TESFA, 2016 and also got Young Faculty Award from VIFA 2018.

  • Pooja Singh

    Dr. Pooja Singh received his Ph.D. degree from Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University). She has experience of 21 years in world’s leading CMMi-5 software multinational companies, research organizations and academic institutes. She is currently Assistant Professor in SIES Graduate School of Technology, Navi Mumbai, and has distinction of working in the field of image processing, artificial intelligence, mathematical modelling, reliability engineering, safety engineering and other mathematical sciences for to solve the various technical challenges in Nuclear Power Plants. She has an illustrious career and succeeded in several critical jobs assigned to him in his illustrious career, though, each of them was challenging. Her assignments over the years range from design, development, testing, IV&V, related research and site validation of the safety critical computer based systems of Indian Nuclear Power Plants. She has published several research papers in journals of high impact factor like IEEE Transactions, IEEE Computer, ACM, Elsevier, Quality & Reliability International, etc. She is recipient of many awards like prestigious IEEE K. Shankar award, publication award, etc. She has also received IEEE Woman Technologist award. She is a reviewer of several SCI indexed journals of high impact factor, including 14 different IEEE Transactions. She is a life member of Indian Nuclear Society. She has been invited for keynote speeches, and talks in many international IEEE and other conferences. She is a member of editorial board of many reputed journals and guest lead editor of many special issues. She is supervising many PhD students of different reputed institutes. She is actively involved in formation of interdisciplinary Centre of Dependability Engineering at IIT (BHU). She has several international research collaborations. Her research interests are in the area of mathematical modelling, image processing, artificial intelligence, reliability, system design, safety and security of safety critical computer based systems. So far she has completed 8 projects of Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India.

  • Razia Gul

    Dr. Razia Gul has been an academic for more than 15 years. Currently, Dr. Razia Gul is serving as an Assistant Professor at SZABIST, Islamabad. She has a vast teaching experience at various universities and business schools across the country, including NUST, SZABIST, DHA Suffa University, and TMUC, among others. Her research interest includes intellectual capital, big data, financial inclusion, financial markets, green finance and sustainability. Her work has been published in top-tier journals, including Energy Economics (ABS=3, ABDC=A), Technological Forecasting and Social Change (ABS=3, ABDC=A), Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization (ABDC=A*, ABS=3), among others. Additionally, Dr. Razia Gul is working on a project titled 'Market Segmentation of Sustainable Tourism based on Religious Motivations Market', aiming to achieve SDG 8.9. This project is a collaboration of four universities in Pakistan and Malaysia. Dr. Razia Gul is also working as a reviewer for many journals, including Financial Innovation, International Review of Economics & Finance, Knowledge Management & Research Practice, Journal of Science and Technology Policy Management.
